Based on your location, we can advise the cost of our technicians to come install your machine. A new unit, especially a custom system, can require an experienced technician to properly install. APPI offers a New Install Checklist Form in our documents section so you can be ready to start running at a faster production rate than ever before! To make this new productivity even more successful, you'll need a trained operator. Training will be provided for all your operators so they can become as efficient as your new equipment. Our service department has years of experience in operating, repairing, and troubleshooting APPI equipment.

(APP) recommend that customers purchase and prepay for Service, taking advantage of the highest discounts available for both the service visit and also parts throughout the contract period. APP Service Contract / Maintenance Agreemnent is quoted and pricing varies widely based on the equipment list, customer location, condition of the equipment, age of the equpment and number of cycles per year. Service Contract Terms and Conditions: A "typical" service contract includes the following, but APP will tailor each contract to the needs of the customer. Duration of maintenance contract: 1 or 2 years Free 24/7 phone support for the first 30 days, after receiving the equipment. 25% Discount on spare parts not covered by APP's Limited Parts Warranty 20% Discount on Mileage rate 30% Discount on Site Labor 40% Discount on Travel Labor Extended warranty from 1 year to 2 years (and possibly longer based on material usage).     Installation, Set-Up, and Training: Advanced Poly Service Technicians are available for all system installations. Prior to shipment, every system is run to confirm the proper operation, but during transport issues may occur which need to be resolved on-site. Start-up issues are typically resolved quickly but some may take longer. As a result of possible start-up issues or based on your location, installation costs will vary widely. Strictly as an estimate, the following minimum costs should be considered: Eastern USA - $2,500 Central USA - $3,000 Western USA - $3,500. This price is an estimation of the final costs for one visit, with one APP Service Technician at your site for 6-8 hours (2 day trip normally, 3-4 days typically for Western USA). Final costs for the service visit will be determined upon return to APP when we have had a chance to review all travel costs, our on-site time and travel time. One APP technician will install & setup the equipment and train your personnel on the proper operation, preventive maintenance, adjustments and trouble-shooting procedures. Based on your location, one or more days may be required for travel. On site time is 6-8 per day typically. For each additional day required, please add $750.00 to the above costs for your estimation of the final costs. NOTES: Installation costs subject to change based on travel expenses, time on site and travel time. Please allow at least TWO weeks notice for scheduling and to obtain the lowest air-fare. APP highly recommends Factory Installation whenever a printer is ordered on the system to assist with print head adjustments, software setup and label parameter setup. Prior to scheduling the service visit, please confirm that your area will be ready with electric, air, PC, software installed, etc. APP can provide a pre-installation checklist if required. APP first bills the machine (upon shipment) and will later bill the Installation, once completed. Itemized invoice will show all parts billed, labor, travel and other expenses.     Second Training / Follow-up Service Visit: For complex systems, Advanced Poly-Packaging, Inc. (APP) recommends a second visit to reinforce training, finallze the system, perform any adjustments or repair / service any issues. Often with more complex system, customers request modifications or APP learns of additional requirements and in many cases, APP can deploy requested changes during the follow-up visit. Similar to the initial service visit, final costs will be confirmed upon the technicians return to APP, but costs should be similar to the initial service viist. NOTES: Service costs subject to change based on travel expenses, time on site and travel time. Please allow at least TWO weeks notice for scheduling and to obtain the lowest air fare.     Many APPI customers utilize our service department to help walk them through a simple repair. They can often diagnose problems over the phone. If you have attempted to resolve an issue on your bagger but it has proven too complex for a phone diagnostic, Advanced Poly-Packaging, Inc. (APP) has service techs on call to visit your site to service your bagging systems. APP requires a purchase order prior to scheduling a service visit. Since the final charges cannot be determined prior to leaving APPI, the purchase order must indicate the rates of service, or reference APPI's quote. Approval of service: A representative of your company must sign off on all repairs and service performed prior to our technician departing. Some detailed costs will appear on the service report; however, final costs will be determined upon return to APPI. **NOTE: You may want to consider sending your equipment or component to Advanced Poly-Packaging, Inc. to save on travel and other related expenses.
