    Validates pressure, seal time and temperature settings. Prevents cycle operation if parameters are not within range of acceptance. Typically required for medical applications, but also a great option for high value parts to assure seal integrity. Features: • Digital pressure controller with alarm output to monitor seal pressure • Seal Bar Sensor to validate seal bar movement • Secondary Temperature Controller with separate thermocouple input and alarm output to stop cycle operation of Bagger if Seal Bar is not within set temperature range • Option enabled in T-1000 Validation screen: • Temperature, Pressure, and Seal Time results displayed with alarm conditions • Outputs provided for external monitoring • Real time reporting with Date, Time, Temperature, Pressure, and Seal Time results recorded (one record per seal cycle) • USB memory stick used for recording data Note: The Seal Validation option is not included in the standard T-1000 package and must be purchased separately. Operation: APPI has provided additional components to provide a secondary means of monitoring out of range conditions for three critical components that affect seal quality: 1. Seal Temperature: A secondary controller was added with an alarm output that signals when the temperature falls out of the set range in the temperature controller. 2. Seal Time: Sensors on the Seal Bar measure how long the Seal Bar is engaged to validate that the Heater Bar is extended within an acceptable time compared to the set Seal Time. Seal Time is measured by the PLC for how long the 'Seal Bar In' sensor is activated. Cool Time is when the Pressure Bar holds the bag in place without the Heater Bar applying heat. If ‘Cool Time’ is used, Total Time is 'Seal Time' plus 'Cool Time'. Add ‘Total Time’ on ‘Seal Validation’ screen and use it for validation. Range: When the range is set, it allows a variance (+/- seconds) from the set Seal Time. 3. Seal Pressure: A Pressure Sensor was added with an alarm output that signals when the pressure falls out of the set range. Typically, medical companies require seal validation as a secondary means to detect out of range conditions and to stop the operation when these conditions exists.
