Optical Frame Photo Eye is used for all UC model parts counters. Our most sensitive photo eye offers excellent optical coverage of the entire field of detection. Capable of detecting very small components, the photo eye couples with our PLC functionality for automatic settings simply by testing parts through the eye. Whilst the photo eye can be set to Static (out eye only when field is interrupted) or Dynamic (adjustable output duration), the Static function is most often used. Maximum sensitivity is attained through a simple turn of a pot. Versatility to detect the widest range of parts is key for most parts counting applications and this eye has proven to be reliable, easy to set and once set consistent in its operation.
