The following APP STANDARD rates are offered for your estimation of the final costs, which will be billed for each service visit. These rates may be discounted based on whether bags for equipment are solely produced by Advanced Poly: (Rates are for 2024)
On-site service rate: $300/hour
Travel rate: $200/hour
Mileage $1.20/mile
Food allowance: $110/day

The following are ADDITIONAL charges which are not subject to discounts, as they are typically billed based on actual costs:
Rental vehicles: Approximately $150 to $300 per day, billed at actual cost.
Hotel costs: Approximately $200 to $500 per night, billed at actual cost.
Airfare: Flight cost vary greatly and will be billed based at actual cost.
Shipping and other costs: Shipment of parts, or other materials, along with any other charges, will be billed at our actual costs.

Advanced Poly-Packaging, Inc. (APP) has service techs on call to visit your site to service your bagging systems. APP requires a purchase order prior to scheduling a service visit. Since the final charges cannot be determined prior to leaving APPI, the purchase order must indicate the rates of service, or reference APPI's quote.

Field Service Form: APP will complete a Field Service Form which will describe the customer reported issues, work performed and service recommendations. Customer will be required to approve the work performed prior to the Service Technician's departure from your facility. The Field Service Report will also provide an estimate of the final billing, but the amount on the form is strictly an estimate. Final charges will be calculated after the technician has returned to APP to gather all costs associated with the service visit.

Discounts:
Tier 1 Discount (Note 1) - 50% discount on APP Standard Rates (Parts, Labor, Mileage, Food).
Tier 2 Discount (Note 2) - 20% discount on APP Standard Rates (Parts, Labor, Mileage, Food).
Tier 3 Discount (Note 3) - 0% discount.

Notes:
Note 1 - Tier 1 discounts are offered to customers who purchase all of their materials (bag, film, ribbon) from Advanced Poly-Packaging, Inc. The discount is offered as an incentive and a "thank you" for your continued business. Other incentives include extended warranties, program updates, free phone support, free training at APP facilities and discounted maintenance contracts. Initial installations are discounted at at Tier 1 discounts as a "thank you" for purchasing the equipment from APP.

Note 2 - Tier 2 discounts are offered to APP resellers.

Note 3 - Tier 3 discount is no discount, which is offered to customers who elect not to purchase all of their materials from Advanced Poly.
