LSS-10 Short Bag Load Shelf supports the bottom of the bag when loading heavier products into smaller bags. Like our LS-10 Load Shelf, the shelf drops to allow the sealed bag to fall from the shelf, but the design of this load is specifically suited to shorter length bags. The shortest bag suggested is 3.5” overall length.
The shelf and mounting/backing plates are produced from a heavy duty stainless steel. A large bore cylinder actuates the shelf which pivots on a piano hinge and flow controls are provided to allow for a smooth action of the device. Timers are included as a function of the touch screen program and a code is required to enable the option.
APP suggests ordering this option on the machine originally, but it can be added by a qualified maintenance person knowledgeable about basic pneumatics and low voltage wiring.
Note: Support shelf can be coated to reduce part impact on the bag and shelf, and to reduce noise levels. When ordered separately, the kit will include the load shelf completely assembled, all pneumatic piping, solenoid valve and wiring. Connection to the PLC is required.
